Do I Have to Go to Court for My Divorce?
In some situations, it is not necessary for either of the parties to actually go into a courtroom. If we’re able to work out a property settlement agreement outside of court, we’re able then to submit all of the documentation to the court on paper. These are documents that are submitted to the court establishing that the agreement was fair, just, and equitable. That allows for the court to make a determination without the parties actually having to come in and give any testimony whatsoever.
